First Northern Community Bancorp (OTCQB:FNRN), holding company for First
Northern Bank, announced that at the May 15, 2014, Organization Meeting
of the Board of Directors of First Northern Community Bancorp and First
Northern Bank, Lori J. Aldrete was elected Vice Chairman of the
11-member Board. She joins Chairman, John M. Carbahal who is in his
second year of his three-year term in leading the Board. Together they
represent 37 years of combined directorship experience with First
Northern.
Aldrete has served on the Board since January 1995. Currently, she is
Chairman of the Bank’s Compensation Committee. She also serves on the
Directors’ Loan Committee, the Nominating and Corporate Governance
Committee, and the Information Services Steering Committee.
Aldrete, who holds an undergraduate degree in Communications from
Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from
California State University, Sacramento, is owner of Aldrete
Communications, a regional public affairs, marketing and communications
firm headquartered in Davis, California. She is also the Executive Vice
President/Chief Operating Officer of Aldrete Enterprises. Aldrete has
held senior executive management positions for large healthcare
organizations in Sacramento and San Francisco and has worked in the
business and communications fields for more than 35 years.
In addition to serving on the Boards of First Northern Community Bancorp
and First Northern Bank, she is also a board member of the United Way
California Capitol Region, and is a member of the Davis Chamber of
Commerce.
