First Northern Community Bancorp (OTCQB:FNRN), holding company for First
Northern Bank, announced that at their recent 2017 Organization Meeting
of the Board of Directors of First Northern Community Bancorp and First
Northern Bank, Richard M. Martinez was elected Vice Chairman of the
11-member Board. He joins Chairman, Lori J. Aldrete who is in her second
year of her three-year term in leading the Board. Together they
represent 28 years of combined directorship experience with First
Northern.

Martinez has served on the Board since March 2011. Currently, he is
Chairman of the Bank’s Compensation Committee. He also serves on the
Directors’ Loan Committee, the Nominating and Corporate Governance
Committee, and the Asset/Liability Committee.
Martinez, who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from
California State University at Chico, is a partner in Triad Farms, a
diversified row crop farm that operates property in Solano and Yolo
Counties. He has been responsible for the financial management of the
farming operations for over 30 years. Martinez served for 20 years as a
director of the Dixon Resource Conservation District and also served as
the Chairman of the Dixon Joint Powers Authority for regional drainage.
He remains active in many agricultural and natural resources related
associations and advisory committees, and has extensive knowledge of the
local agriculture community.
